Our general secretary, Kate Ashbrook, and local correspondent for Oxfordshire, Chris Hall, will be speaking at a public meeting in Dorchester Village Hall on Tuesday 10th January as part of a local initiative to preserve footpaths and open access to the Dyke Hills and Days Lock area near Dorchester-on-Thames. Local resident, and OSS member Becky Waller, will also make a brief presentation. The meeting has been called in response to public notices posted by Oxfordshire County Council.

Members of the public are invited to attend and share their own history and memories of the area, and help formulate a response to Oxfordshire County Council.

If you are interested in helping to preserve footpaths and open spaces around Dorchester-on-Thames, please come along to the meeting in Dorchester Village Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday 10 January; see details on poster here.
