The Society's 2026 AGM will be held at 11am on Thursday 2 July at Friends House, 173 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BJ.
This year, we shall again welcome members in person to our Annual General Meeting, while also offering online access to the meeting for those members who would prefer to join us virtually. But we do very much hope that you can come to London to join us.
Register to attend the 2026 AGM
Please register by midday on 22 June 2026. Please note: if you are attending the AGM via Zoom, the name you use to join the meeting must match the name you enter in the form today, otherwise we regret that we will not be able to admit you.

Arrangements for the AGM
For the 2026 AGM, the following arrangements have been agreed:
Members will be sent (either by email or post, according to their preference) the agenda, minutes, voting form, details of trustees for election and vice-presidents for appointment, and links to the annual report and accounts.
All voting for standard AGM business items will be by proxy, preferably online, ahead of the meeting. This will be by instructing the chairman of the meeting which way to cast your vote. If you wish you can leave the choice to the chairman.
The voting form is available below on this page or can be downloaded here. We invite members to vote by the closing date of 1 July 2026 at noon. Any non-binding votes can be taken on the day.
To enable informed decisions to be taken, members are invited to send questions about any of the items to be voted on in advance of the AGM. Please ensure that any questions reach us by 22 June 2026 at office1@oss.org.uk. Answers will be posted here by 25 June 2026.
On the day of the AGM, the tellers will count the votes and the results will be announced at the meeting, by email, and on the website.
