Take Action for the Environment

At the beginning of August 2018, Wildlife & Countryside Link, of which OSS is a member, launched its own campaign page to promote the joint e-action with Greener UK: Take Action for the Environment. This e-action encouraged people to write to their MPs and a template email was provided which reflected the political context in each country.

This was to be the first of a number of initiatives especially during the passage of the ‘EU Withdrawal Bill’, otherwise called the Repeal Bill. The Environment Links UK Brexit Nature Coalition group (working with Greener UK) was to be the lead group for most of the advocacy work on this Bill.

We asked our members to engage in this e-action and to share widely on social media using the hashtags
#WithdrawalBill #Brexit.
