Pete has always been active in rights of way issues as an activist. Now he has to use a wheelchair so he is learning legal ways to continue. He is exercised by his home town Ipswich not having a Definitive Map, and faces daily battles with Ipswich Borough Council and Suffolk County Council. He is also a member of Ramblers' Association and of Suffolk Rights Of Way Limited which is a company limited by guarantee and is more of a charitable organisation which never has sufficient funds. He is still an activist, as old habits die hard
