Bookseller, living in Kington, Herefordshire. Life member of OSS and local correspondent for North Herefordshire. Particular interest - public rights of way. Fought successful High Court case, some years ago, against Hereford & Worcester County Council, to force it to remove obstructions from several paths. Case went to Court of Appeal. Running scheme in West Herefordshire using mainly young men given community service by courts, to open up rights of way network, putting in stiles, bridges, signs, over 50,000 man-hours to date. Secured £46,000 grant from European Regional Development Fund to increase the above work and to part-fund two large-span footbridges.
