The Society's Logo

Britain's oldest conservation society, founded in 1865  Charity No 214753

The Open Spaces Society protects common land and public rights of way.

If you know of a blocked public path or encroachment on common land,
or you want to register a 'new' green, we can help you, once you have joined the Society.

As a charity we rely heavily upon membership subscriptions to fund our services.
We hope you will decide to join us.
