John Mathisen posted an update: At a public meeting on February 10, 2012 at the United Reform Church Elstead, Surrey, a local residents group called PATH - Protect Access To Hankley, was formed to work with the Ministry of Defence and their Agents, Landmarc Support Services Ltd. who have recently closed long established car parks and taken other steps to restrict public access to Hankley Common.

Hankley Common is military training land but local walkers, runners, cyclists and horse riders have peacefully coexisted with troop training for 40 or more years until harassment began two years ago.
